Through our world-class online platform, IDMANN Academy provides tutorial support for students in secondary and pre-secondary grades. Job Description:
- For our program’s computer-aided design (CAD), 2D, and 3D modeling courses, we are seeking instructors.
- In addition to being able to model, the instructor should be able to TEACH younger pupils how to model.
- As part of the program’s capstone project, students are required to design and create a product that they might utilize on a daily basis using 3D printing.
- It is required of instructors to be able to guide students from the very beginnings of the modeling process to printing tangible objects.
Requirements
- Exceptional proficiency in LibreCAD, AUTOCAD, or other typical 2D modeling software.
- Outstanding proficiency with popular 3D modeling (and animation) programs such as Blender, AUTODESK, SketchUp, and others.
The capacity to generate and work with STL files, which are utilized in 3D printing software. (Any of the widely used 3D printing programs would work.) - It would be very advantageous to have prior experience with additive manufacturing or industrial 3D printing.
- It would be an advantage to have mechatronics or robotics experience in addition to the fundamentals of 3D modeling.To be able to instruct students in HAC, who are usually students in elementary and secondary schools, instructors must have a track record of success in early childhood education or a notable interest in the field. (It would be best if you had both a teaching credential and at least two years of experience teaching at a school.)
You must have the following if you are to work with us
- A dependable desktop computer or laptop with a high-quality webcam, microphone, keyboard, and mouse (or touchpad) is required; using a handheld or mobile device for training will not be allowed.
- The modeling software that will be used in class MUST be able to be used on the same desktop or laptop that was previously indicated.

- Availability to teach at least TWO evenings during the week and on the weekends, mainly on Saturdays.
