Company Overview
We are a reputable hospitality consulting firm, providing exceptional support services to clients across the country. Due to recent expansion, one of our clients, a five-star hotel, is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and oversee the preparation or supervision of daily revenue ledgers.
- Develop a schedule for all statutory dues and ensure timely payment.
- Collaborate with management to formulate and review internal control procedures, recommending modifications where necessary.
- Ensure all expenses remain within the approved budget limits.
- Possess a strong understanding of inventory management and supervise monthly stock-taking and reconciliation, ensuring adherence to stock procedures.
- Prepare or supervise the preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statements.
- Develop payment schedules for creditors and maintain debtor schedules.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of HND/BSc in Accounting.
- Advanced stage in ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and at least one accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of internal controls and inventory management.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Only applicants residing in Lagos will be considered.
Salary Range
₦100,000 – ₦150,000/month
